It was an all-out team effort with lots of 11th hour writing, compiling, and editing, but we put together a damn fine Advance Review Copy (ARC) of our new book for self publishing authors that’s all about what to do after your book is published. Thanks to Infinity’s outstanding copyeditors and our high-performance book production department. Participants at our 8th annual Express Yourself…™ Authors’ Conference at Valley Forge will receive complimentary ARCs. They will have the opportunity to make suggestions, comment on what we’ve done, and provide those all-important book blurbs. Many of the contributors will be presenting or on panels at the conference, so our book will hopefully be well received by very friendly house authors.Finished copies will be available for sale in early November, 2007. Newly published Infinity authors will receive a complimentary copy of My Book’s Published – Now What??? when they receive the proof copies of their book. Infinity authors with their books already in our book publishing system will receive a complimentary copy when they order 20 copies of their book between now and January 1, 2008. The news release and accompanying author’s note are from the book. We’ve tried to provide new material on topics that will directly benefit newly published authors – especially Infinity authors, because this book is naturally rather biased in favor of our way of book publishing. We also included a bit of insight, like how Tom Gregory developed the concept for our newly launched AuthorNation.com website as a cyberspace extension of our Authors’ Conference. Speaking of our conference, it starts in just a few hours, and we’re looking forward to the dynamic energy and exchange of ideas. We do hope you’ll make plans now to attend next year or in January at our Authors’ Conference in San Diego. |
