After months, maybe even years, your book is finally published. “The hard but fruitful labor is over,” you think. “Now all I have to do is sell it!!! Piece of cake!!!” You begin selling a few copies here and there, but much to your dismay, there’s nothing spectacular. Some months might bring a few sales, but in others, there isn’t one single sale!!! When your royalty check arrives, you can’t believe its paltry amount. “Why aren’t more books selling???” you wonder. “What am I doing wrong??? |

Well, that’s not exactly true. We don’t do them in the conventional manner – some of those newly evolving publishing services go after this questionable income as part of their profit pictures. I’ve never figured out the kickback logic in agreeing to overpay for a service, only to have part of the overpayment coming back to payer. To my way of thinking, it’s a much cleaner transaction to just pay a fair price for services rendered. |

Infinity-published authors have several advantages over other self-published authors and authors published by mainstream houses. One of these advantages is the ease of releasing a second edition of a book – without waiting for the first edition offset press-run to sell out. Infinity’s authors have the ability to take a good book and make it into a potentially great second edition. |

Four Infinity authors are scheduled to do readings at the gala opening on Sunday, April 15th, of this independent bookstore, located at 424 East 9th St., NYC. C. D. Berry will read poetry from her Descendents of Eve collection. Bill Hash will read from his action- adventure novel, AMRA; Ladislas Goldberger will read from his adult romance novel, Tainted; and Ron Parker will read from his contemporary romance novel, For Love of Nikki Diamond. |
