Will I get an ACTUAL BOOK as a proof copy to review with my family and friends? E-mail

As part of our book publishing service, four to six weeks after we receive your book, you will be shipped 2 perfect-bound books with full-color, laminated covers. Reading and checking over your own book for typos is vital to producing an error-free book. Pass your book around to family and friends to help you with proofreading. Being able to proof and actual book is a huge advantage over trying to proofread a set of gallery proofs or enduring the fatigue of looking for typos from an electronic version of your book online. Many other print on demand book publishers force you to proofread your book online or charge you extra for a physical proof book to work on.

The proof copy is very important because you must carefully review your book word for word and clearly mark any errors that might have occurred during the conversion process and to catch any typos that might have been missed during your final proofreading that was done before submitting your book to our book publishing company.  Some self publishing companies have a surcharge for providing certain forms of proof copies.  Be sure you understand what will be provided as part of the setup charge and what form of proof copies you must pay an additional fee for.  It is essential that the proof copy be extremely representational of your finished book.

In most cases, there are several corrections to be made to the first proof book. A second proof book is almost always necessary to get the book up to your standard of what it should be. Authors frequently see grammar and spelling problems pop right off the pages of their first proof books. This is perhaps due to the experience of seeing the work in book form for the first time.
