How often am I paid my royalties and what book sales are reflected on my royalty statement? |

Most other book publishers hold on to your earnings by paying royalties quarterly or semi-yearly. Your royalties are paid promptly every month when you self publish your book with Infinity Publishing. Even your own book purchases are reflected on your royalty statement. Other book publishing companies do not report these sales as they do others. If the sales of books that you purchase are not reported on your royalty statement, what records do you have of those sales in case your book is a top seller? You earn royalties on all sales, including your own! We sell your book at either full list price (to consumers) or at a discount (to resellers, quantity sales, stores, etc). As a result, there are four types of royalties you will see on your monthly royalty statement: - Retail Royalties: When we sell a book at full list price, you will earn 30% of the sale.
- Wholesale Royalties: When we sell your book at a discount, you will earn 15% of the sale.
- Ingram Royalties: If you opted for our extended distribution package, your book will be sold via Ingram. These sales have their own line item on your royalty statements and you will earn 15% of all book sales.
- Author Purchases: When you purchase your own published books, you will earn 10% of the sale. You may buy your book at an unheard of 50% discount on your first order. All subsequent orders are offered at a steep 40% discount.
